Tips
Some tips to enhance your Soya Keema Pav:
Rehydrate Soya Well: Ensure that you properly boil and squeeze out the excess water from the soya granules or chunks. This helps in absorbing the flavors during cooking.
Customize Spice Levels: Adjust the spice levels according to your taste preferences. If you prefer it spicier, increase the red chili powder or add green chilies.
Use Fresh Ingredients: Freshly chopped onions and tomatoes contribute to a richer flavor. Opt for fresh ginger and garlic for a more aromatic taste.
Simmer for Flavor: Allow the soya keema to simmer on low heat after adding soya. This helps the granules or chunks to absorb the spices and develop a deeper flavor.
Garnish with Fresh Herbs: Fresh coriander leaves not only add a burst of color but also freshness to the dish. You can also sprinkle some chopped mint for an extra layer of flavor.
Butter the Pav: Toast the pav with a bit of butter for added taste. It complements the spiciness of the soya keema.
Serve with Accompaniments: Serve with a side of sliced onions, lemon wedges, and green chutney. This adds variety and freshness to the meal.
Experiment with Bread: While pav is traditional, feel free to try different types of bread like whole wheat rolls or buns for a healthier twist.
