Ingredients:
Makhana (fox nut) - 1 cup
Peas - 1 cup
Onion - 1 cup (chopped )
Tomato - 2
Cashew - 5-7
Garlic - 5/6
Ginger - 1"
Red Chilli Powder - ½ tsp
Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - ½ tsp
Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - ½ tsp
Kasoori Methi - 1 tsp
Cream - ½ cup
Oil - 3 tbsp
Instructions:
Dry roast 1 cup fox nut.
Heat 1 tbsp .
Fry chopped onion,garlic,ginger and tomato.
Saute till onion, garlic and tomato get tender.
Add 5-7 cashews.
Flame off.
Let them cool down and blend.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan.
Add cumin seeds,bay leaves and cloves.
Add onion tomato ginger-garlic and cashew paste.
When oil releases, add red chilli powder.
Add kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder.
Mix coriander powder.
Add peas and mix well.
Add 1 cup of water.
Add 1 tsp salt.
When peas get tender, add 1 cup more water.
Take a boil for 5-7 minutes til pea are soft.
When gravy comes to right consistency
Add roasted fox nuts . Cook for a while.
Add ½ cup cream.
Mix 1 tsp kasoori methi and garam masala.
Flame off.
Dish is ready.
