Butter Garlic Mushrooms



Garlic Mushrooms is a tasty appetizer made with button mushrooms sauted in butter garlic and herbs. Garlic Mushrooms or Butter Garlic Mushroom is one of the quickest starter that you can make in a jiffy.


Garlic Mushrooms is a tasty appetizer made with button mushrooms sauted in butter garlic and herbs.

This Buttery Garlic Mushrooms is so easy that even a beginner or an amateur cook can make it. Apart from the button mushrooms, garlic and butter, I simply add dried oregano and black pepper to season it. You can use your choice of herbs in the recipe.

You can also have it as a side dish with any main course or even as a snack. Other ways of relishing this dish are serving it on top of toasts, stuffing it in wraps or rolls or making scrumptious tacos with it. Sandwiches or loaf breads stuffed with these mushrooms also taste fab. Let's know what ingredients are needed.

Ingredients


  • White Button Mushrooms - 200 g

  • Garlic Cloves o- 1 tablespoon finely chopped

  • Onion - ½ cup finely chopped

  • Butter – 1 tbsp salted or unsalted

  • Oil - 1 tbsp

  • Dried oregano - 1 tsp or can also use pizza seasoning

  • Red Chilli Flakes - ½ tsp

  • Coriander Leaves - 1 tbsp chopped

  • Black Pepper - ½ tsp

  • Salt as required or ½ tsp



Let us learn to make Garlic Mushrooms


Instructions 

  • Firstly rinse or wipe the mushrooms and then chop them.

  • On a low heat, add 1-1 tablespoon oil butter respectively in a pan. Keep the heat to low, so that the butter get melt not burnt.

  • Add finely chopped onion and saute til the onion get tender but not change its colour.

  • Now add the button mushrooms. Stir and saute them on a low to medium heat. Initially the mushrooms will release lot of water.

  • Add the finely chopped garlic and sauté for about half a minute on low heat, till their raw aroma of garlic goes away.

  • Continue to saute them till all the water dries/evaporates.

  • You can continue to sauté until the mushrooms turn a light golden or golden at the edges.

  • Once all of the water is dried and the mixture looks perfect, add the dried herbs ie- red chilli flakes and pizza seasoning, crushed black pepper and salt.

  • Mix well. Switch off the heat.

  • Serve Garlic Butter Mushroom as is or accompanied with bread or any flat bread.
